Tab To Tap is joining Studio Meije!

TL;DR: After years in XR and visionOS development — from my time at Opuscope to launching Tab To Tap and spending the past year building my freelance practice — I’m excited to announce that Tab To Tap is joining Studio Meije. Together with Tina Debove and Soraya Jaber, we’re uniting forces to build the next generation of visionOS and spatial computing apps. Full statement below.

When I launched Tab To Tap, my objective has always been to become one of the foremost experts in XR development, particularly visionOS development. This journey began when I, along with my good friend and former colleague, Tina Debove, decided to take a flight to purchase the Vision Pro when it was launched in the US in February 2024. However, if we’re being completely honest, this adventure started long before that.

What a few people don’t know is that we collaborated for years when she was the Chief Technology Officer of Opuscope, the company she co-founded with Soraya Jaber in 2016. I met them in 2017 when they were just starting their venture, and when the opportunity arose, I joined Opuscope in 2020 as a humble employee. Over the years, I worked on numerous remarkable projects, including Minsar Studio, Wanderland, and Mappn. Gradually, I assumed a more significant role within the company and became a technical product manager in the final two years of its existence. It was undoubtedly one of the most fulfilling periods of my life, even amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19. The obstacles we overcame together strengthened our mutual respect and friendship. Regrettably, despite our best efforts, Opuscope had to close down at the end of 2023.

With the launch of the Vision Pro, it was the perfect opportunity to start fresh on a new platform. In 2024, I mostly took a step back and watched the space while recharging my batteries and thinking of what I wanted to bring to this industry. In January 2025, I created Tab To Tap and started working as a freelance dev & consultant full-time. While I thought this would be a lonely journey for a long time, it actually led me to meet many amazing and talented people along the way.

People called me crazy for founding my company and dedicating myself entirely to developing apps for the Vision Pro. Why would you create apps for a platform that was widely considered dead on arrival by some of the press and influencers? Well, sometimes, you have to ignore the noise. Don’t listen to the haters, whether they’re Android or Apple fanboys, and just do your own thing. Staying focused allowed me to find renewed energy and a sense of purpose that I felt was missing in many of the older XR players.

With the first year almost complete, I’ve reached a point where it’s time to elevate my business to the next level. The Vision Pro market is booming, and I’ve been fortunate to have been fully booked for the past few months. However, I’m now unable to meet the demand alone, and I’ve been sharing the workload with Studio Meije quite a bit.

In the back of my mind, I’ve always known that if I wanted to take my XR business seriously and develop the best apps for the Vision Pro, especially for B2B, I needed to surround myself with the best people and those I trust the most. When Tina Debove and Soraya Jaber invited me to join them at Studio Meije, I didn’t hesitate.

So I’m very happy to announce that Tab To Tap is joining Studio Meije. We're combining our efforts and we have a lot of things planned for the future. All the development will be done under Studio Meije and with Soraya Jaber helping us, I believe we have all the ingredients to speed things up and become a key player in the industry!
